Missing Chicago

On a Friday morning you woke up after a small gathering at Salvs place. You felt like drinking some orange juice (with EXTRA pulp; freaking delicious) and taking a shower using "Irish Springs" bought in Jewels, and some weird shampoo picked by my brother.

After that shower, opening the living room's window and feeling that 10º C breeze was so cool (literally).

Later on taking a walk through Soldiers Field; refilling walks that you simply cannot take in my hometown anymore. Enjoying the view, the city, the girls...

Feeling that sensation of safety that you lost years ago. Feeling brand new every single day. Head to Dunkin Donuts and grab a couple of chocolate ones and a bottle of milk. Everybody saying: "Hello", "Good morning", "What can I get you sir?", "Have a nice day"... Simple details that makeup your day, for real.

Taking pictures of whatever, having a smoke, eating some food (so cheap), enjoying the bluest skies that spring can give you.

That afternoon walking in Wrigley Ville, eating sushi all-you-can-eat, watching cars like Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Range Rovers, etc. The subway (metra), the parks, the streets.

It all comes back to me like a present wrapped up in a small box. A present that encourages me to move on and continue. A little flame that burns and screams: "There's a huge world out there".

And so right now, 3 months later, I'm missing Chicago...
